This authentic Mississippi paddlewheel steamboat reminds us of Mark Twain’s most famous characters, Tom Sawyer and Huckleberry Finn. Paddlewheelers helped to shrink the vastness of America, and as showboats, they made that vastness a little less lonely. Manufactured in Spain by the largest and most respected model ship kit builder in the world, Artesania Latina model kits represent the state-of-the-art in fine wooden ship modeling. Were carrying eleven models, including such classic tall ships as the USS Constellation, the HMS Bounty and the HMS Victory. All the ships feature plank-on-bulkhead construction, cloth sails, rigging lines, brass fittings and details, and are geared towards the intermediate and advanced ship modeler. These magnificent kits include extensive instructions, including full scale rigging diagrams and some kits even include the tools necessary to build the model!
